we dont even have jury duty we need to be compensated for... i consider that a good thing..

course on the flipside if for some reason the gubment does need you on a work day... dont count on any compensation and figure out how to get that time off yourself

(well... if you keep the receipts you can probably get your trainfare back)

wait, you get paid? I got stuck on grand jury duty and had to go in 3-4 times a week for a month, got no pay in addition to my normal salary from work, had to pay for parking, and pay for meals.
